Coming Down to Beijing

There's still one thing I have to stress. Since Beijing banned plastic bags for retail goods, canvas tote bags are in. At ARRTCO in Joy City they've got many interesting ones from domestic designers.

Xidan is the non-proper shopping center of Beijing, where most young Beijingers go shopping. Tomorrow's work. Mom's ill. I don't have many words.









I didn't buy this VW jersey because I hate people staring on my tits.

I took the first train of Subway Line 10 at Suzhoujie on this first opening day.

For Renda....

The second day was an easy day. I woke up at 12 and went to Xujiahui to learn for my driving license. The other two spent 6 hours on their way to and back from Luzhi, an ancient town near Suzhou out in the Jiangsu province, though as Dido had informed it should be lying somewhere in the Shanghainese suburban area.

Then we met GJ, a friend I know online for more than 5 years. She's an auditor too. She took us to a VERY tiny private Shanghai restaurant where celebs like to dine out. It was a great Shanghai home dinner.




After that GJ took us for a drive through Shanghai city to the bund. A big city anyway.

I came back from Shanghai yesterday and I was totally worn out. However, it was an interesting trip.

On the bus to the airport I had some sushis for breakfast. It was a delicious start.

And on the first day we all had the Liyingzhou outfit on, which was dedicated to our leader.

We stayed in a strange budget motel called Motel 268....Interestingly they had two laptops in the lobby for internet users. One is always disconnected. The other was occupied by a kid for online-games all the time.

In the evening I visited my aunt and cousin. They took me to a Sichuan dinner....I am a Sichuanese.

When I got back to my group, they were having a much more descent Shanghai dinner in a stylish restaurant with Dido's friend KK.

After that we went to Paulaner, a Bavarian style restaurant/bar. We saw the Shanghainese upper class while we were only able to order one 8-euro-3.3L-beer each.

When we walked home from the subway station we had to go through the famous Nanking Road, where only foreigners and aliens go for shopping and sightseeing.

And when the night falls....

On my second day in Beijing I did a lot of things....Tomorrow I will be heading for Shanghai for 4 days.

Me like eating Chinese McDonald's.

My fat girlfriend watched me eating.

I visited Dido....

and Danshaku.

The new subway train has a strange roof in it.

Then I went to a family dinner in the Evening.

My mom took me to the traffic administration of my district this morning, which was about 80 minutes' drive....

I registered for the Chinese driving license. I hate the chaos there but I love their efficiency.
